Chelsea's classic Ship’s Bell Barometer, designed as a companion piece to the Ship’s Bell Clock, features a double bellows holosteric movement that mechanically measures changes in atmospheric pressure to foretell changing weather. Readings of “Stormy,” “Rain,” “Change,” “Fair,” or “Very Dry” are displayed on the piece’s rich, hand-silvered dial. The 4" and 6" dial editions of this precision instrument also include a thermometer tube that provides accurate temperature readings.
The Ship’s Bell Barometer features a lacquered solid forged brass case and screw bezel.
Barometer movements are calibrated to sea level and can be adjusted for altitudes up to 5,000 feet above sea level upon request.
