The Manfrotto MT 055 XPRO 3 is our preferred meduim-weight tripod for spotting scopes 80mm and larger, particularly when adding a camera for digiscoping. Its stout 3-section aluminum construction when combined with either the 128 series fluid heads or the XPRO-2W fluid head (sold separately) mades for excellent stability even in strong winds. Includes quick-release leg locks for fast setup.
