The Jupiter Magnetic Compass is a bearing compass, steering compass, reflector compass and overhead compass for large vessels. This "Class A" magnetic compass has a card diameter of 180 m.
The Jupiter meets ISO 449 standard, and it is type approved in accordance with the EC Council Directive 96/98/EC. Further type approvals for many other countries are available, too. It may be installed on all NAVIPOL binnacles, and its accuracy is better than 0.5 degrees.
