ESATTO 4" is our largest robotic micro-focuser that we designed for observatory class telescopes or for astrographs that need for large free aperture.
ESATTO 4" is the largest focuser in the Esatto family. It's large free-aperture of 102mm, 35mm of focus travel, per-step resolution of 0.04 microns, and 10KG of payload capacity makes it perfect for large professional telescopes like those found in observatories or for astrographs offering large corrected image circles, such as the Takahashi FSQ-106.
ESATTO 4" can be computer controlled via a USB-C port or via WiFi with the included Virtual HandPad. ESATTO is also rotator ready with a ARCO rotator port that both powers and controls the ARCO Rotator.

Due to it's incredible optical engineering, the Takahashi FSQ-106 is one of the best performing, and most sought after astrographs used by some of the word's best astrophotographers. The special internal corrector is so large that it requires a very large focuser to use it. For this reason ESATTO 4" is the ideal robotic-focuser for the Takahashi FSQ-106 telescope thus allowing remote and high-precision control of even very heavy imaging cameras and accessories (up to 10KG Capacity).

In order to allow you to install ESATTO 4" in place of the original Takahashi focuser, we have designed a special adapter that makes ESATTO 4" have the same thickness of the original focuser. In addition, we have created an adapter to be screwed to the M110x1 thread of the ESATTO 4" draw tube to convert it into an M92x1 female thread which is the same as the one on the original Takahashi focuser. In this way you can remove the original focuser, install ESATTO 4" with the optional adapters and you will find focus point with the same photographic adapters you used before!
